These are some pictures and notes on my recent crochet projects. As most of these go to charity (Project Linus, usually) I tend to forget the patterns and designs. Most are fleece, with a crocheted edge.

Yellow Soccer Balls
This is the blanket I just finished. I am not thrilled with the black edging, though I am not sure what other color I would have used. I am color stupid. Holes are poked with my edgerydoo, then a straight sc around 4 times, working in back loops only. This is a Christmas gift.

Have you heard of colour wheels? They are useful for picking colours for different effects.
ReplyDeleteColor wheels are pretty, but I have no idea how to use them! LOL Good idea though, I will definitely do some research!
ReplyDeleteI must be odd, I like the black. I think the kids will too. I do however, want to find and learn more about using a color wheel myself.

ReplyDeleteThe above explains the different colour relationships more clearly than most websites on colour wheels. I think your blankets are pretty too, I just mentioned colour wheels because of your comments in this post.
Thanks for the link, sleepwalker! That will definitely be helpful! Fantastic!
